Way over here on the Eastside I have a build going. It's my first. I aquired a beat but complete Haro Dave Mirro 540 Air that I'm upgrading for my son Evan's 11th birthday. I'm trying to keep it a suprise until late May.
Here's a shot of the temporary spray booth that I set up for the project. For those of us who are enviromentally conscience there is a filter pad in the exhaust hood. Don't ask me about the lighting.

I already had the catalysts, white paint and clear coat. I had to set out for the primers and blue urethane. This image would not resize, harrummmpph!

Here's the frame blasted and sanded back "in white." I had to economize on the sand blast media because the blaster belongs to a department other than mine and I didn't want to be piggy about using borrowed media (sh*t's tight, yo!) I sanded all the tubing by hand and media blasted the welds. The sanding went much easier than you would think.

I hadn't sprayed anything in ages but I was pleased with the results anyway. If you find any flaws you are standing too effin' close-Back Off!

These three pieces are complete. The paint flowed well considering the air temerature (64 degrees F) and the 1mm fluid tip on my gravity feed gun.

This stuff is gonna hang for a week or so before I install the new stock BB and the new headset and then hang some more until I gain more partage. Remember, if you happen to see me and Evan before memorial day: mum's-the-word!
So, what do you have going?
